Overview

TrackR ("we", "our", or "the app") is a motorsports data logging application for drag racers. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

This information is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.

Camera

TrackR requests camera access solely to scan timeslip photos using optical character recognition (OCR). Photos are processed and immediately discarded — they are never stored on our servers.

Anonymous Performance Data (Optional)

With your permission, TrackR collects anonymous run data to improve ET prediction accuracy for all users. This includes:

This data cannot be used to identify you. We do not collect your name, car identity, NHRA/IHRA number, exact location, or any personal information.

You can opt out at any time in Settings → Data & Privacy.

How We Use Information

Data Storage

All personal data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. We do not operate a user account system. Anonymous telemetry data is transmitted to secure AWS infrastructure in the United States.

Children's Privacy

TrackR is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
